Regional Sales Manager

Position Description:

Responsible for the sale of industrial processing equipment in the food, beverage, dairy, and chemical industries. This position solicits customers, estimates, and prepares quotations, provides customer service after the order, and maintains overall customer satisfaction.

Experience and Responsibilities Include:
  • Establish and execute a key account plan of major customers.
  • Define sales strategies and commercial positions for all proposals.
  • Conduct technical sales presentations to customers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Extensive travel involved.
  • BS degree in Engineering or other related fields.
  • Minimum five years experience in selling engineered to order equipment.

Scheduling Engineer

Position Description:

Reports to the Production Manager and/or Project Manager. The Scheduling Engineer drives the scheduling process for designated Business Units and manages the staff of scheduling engineers. Prepares and maintains schedules, develops and reviews project baselines, monitors and tracks progress. Supports Business Development and Marketing activities as it relates to proposed project scheduling. Support project in claim situations. Responsible for the protection and promotion of the interest of Mueller in all matters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare summary and detail level schedules for a variety of project sizes.
  • Develop full CPM logic generated baseline schedules for large and small projects (ranging from 20 to 2,000 activities).
  • Perform regular progress updates and create target comparison and periodic look-ahead schedules.
  • Monitor and track progress at detailed and summary level as necessary.
  • Develop and update cost loaded schedules.
  • Participate in all project schedule reviews as required.
  • Develop and implement systems and procedures for operations resource planning and control.
  • Support Business Development and business unit marketing activities in the development and preparation of proposal presentations. This includes developing preliminary bar chart schedules and staffing charts.
  • Provide support and training in the use of Primavera P6 and Suretrak to office and manufacturing personnel as required.
  • Periodic visits to project for schedule review and analysis as required.
  • Train and support staff.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:

A minimum of seven years of scheduling experience with Primavera software and applications (P6 and Suretrak programs) on construction/fabrication projects, large project experience is essential. Additional experience in project engineering, field supervision or purchasing is desirable. P6 and PMP Certification strongly preferred. Knowledge of construction and steel fabrication process, materials, systems, market conditions and trade practices. Conceptual ability to work with minimum information. Excellent oral and written skills required. Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
