Catwalks, Ladders & Platforms

Paul Mueller Company manufactures stainless steel, carbon steel galvanized, or painted ladders, catwalks, stairs, safety railings, and platform assemblies. Whether it is being used inside the plant or outdoors, welded in place or removable, Paul Mueller Company fabricates versatile custom designs that are built to last. You can choose the option that best suits your industrial chemical processing application. All of our accessibility solutions are custom-designed, engineered to product- and process-specific parameters, and designed to OSHA standards so that they make a smooth transition into your existing system.

New in 2018, our ladders are now designed to meet the new OSHA guidelines to offer fall protection options other than cages. Currently, under OSHA standards cages are required on ladders where the climbs are over 20 feet. In OSHA’s new standard taking effect 11/19/2018, ladders will not be required to have fall protection until their height is over 24 feet. OSHA will also be requiring ladders installed after 2018 to have fall protection in the form of a personal fall arrest system or ladder safety system (not a cage). Existing caged ladders will be grandfathered in. We can come onsite and retrofit your older ladders to meet the new requirements which you can read all about here.
