For catalytic chemical reactions, our thermo-plate reactors have interior cooling with polytropic process operation. This design is optimized for processes where compactness and fouling resistance are needed. 

Thermo-plate reactors are best suited for catalytic reactions that have high heat variances, such as:

• Selective or non-selective hydrogenation, like hydrogenation from acetylene to ethylene
• Selective or non-selective oxidation, ethylene to ethylene oxide
• Syntheses, such as for methanol
