SPRINGFIELD, MO – The signs of downtown growth are visually apparent today as 8 large stainless steel fermenters are moving in to Springfield Brewing Company.
SBC is in the process of tripling its brewing capacity by adding the 8 large stainless steel Paul Mueller Company tanks just west of its current facility.
“We purchased the building to the west BrewCo on McDaniel Street from one of our business partners and we are expanding into that space to house these new fermentation tanks” says Bryan Bevel, SBC Co-Owner “We see indications of westward growth downtown and not only are we preparing for additional customers at our doors, but also to keep up with demand at the distribution level.”
Construction for the expansion project is ongoing at SBC, but the almost 1000-gallon tanks can be seen coming through the bay doors today and tomorrow morning and being set up in the expanded building space.
