Pressure Vessel

With 50 years of large pressure vessel manufacturing under our belts, we know how to take your most complex designs and fabricate with the right level of quality and finish. We can fabricate processing vessels to meet the high pressure necessary for ethanol or supercritical CO₂ extraction. With ASME Code capabilities, we will make sure your vessel is rated correctly.

Testing and Documentation

Building to your specifications and in compliance with ASME standards we generate the appropriate structural calculations to produce the correct material thickness to meet the vacuum and pressure rating of your vessel. Within these calculations we also fabricate the correct design supports to meet any building code requirements. When you have a need, we offer documentation packages that include:

• Hydrostatic tests
• CIP testing
• Roughness average mapping
• Drain Tests 

Proper Separation

To achieve a more efficient process, we can add agitation to your pressure vessel.  Doing this 2-in-1 process inside your pressure vessel can save you time. You also have the option to do mixing outside the vessel, then your solution is transferred to the pressure vessel for further processing.  

Nozzle arrangement and internal structure design can also be critical to ensure proper separation of the vapor and liquid streams. Our goal is to harmonize the vessel design with your process.

Safety and Temperature

Critical temperatures to make the most of your ethanol or CO₂ are controlled with custom heat transfer solutions. A jacketed vessel and chiller or an external PHE offer different options for your specific process layout.

With safety top of mind, we also supply the right safety device (e.g. pressure relief valve, rupture disc) 

Ease of Use

When needed we can design around ergonomic and accessibility considerations for large vessels. And add casters to your smaller vessel for mobility around the facility.
