Milk2Heat

    • Dairy Farm
    • Heat Transfer
    • Heat Recovery
    • Reduces your gas bill
    • 24/7 service
    • Extracts residual heat from the milk and transports it to the buffer tank
    • Provides maintenance cooling so that the milk temperature remains at 3° C in the milk cooling tank

How Does It Work?

The warm milk flows from the cow to the milk cooling tank at 37°C. The milk is transported to the milk cooling tank at the highest possible temperature. When the milk is cooled from 37°C to 3°C, the Milk2Heat unit extracts the residual heat from the milk, which is transported to the buffer tank for the heating system. At the same time, the Milk2Heat unit provides maintenance cooling, keeping the milk temperature in the milk cooling tank at 3°C.

Powerful Collaboration

In the Milk2Heat installation, two forces are combined into one to create the optimal use of equipment. The Milk2Heat unit from Mueller ensures energy-efficient milk cooling and efficient heat transfer, enabling Loohuis Agro Neutraal to heat the desired purposes. Thanks to this combination, the purchase of an additional heat source is no longer necessary. Like Mueller, Loohuis Agro Neutraal offers 24/7 service.
