Serving Wine Tank

For wineries, there are several costs to running a wine tasting room - labor, the wine, packaging and waste, just to name a few. The Paul Mueller Serving Tanks for Wine can eliminate or reduce some of those costs, making your operation more profitable and in some cases, easier to manage.

We are now adding Serving Wine Tanks to our lineup of commercial wine-making equipment in North America! The cutting edge technology used in these tanks allows them to hold high-strength bag inliners, creating a self-cooling, bag-in-tank system that can be used directly in the tasting room.

Booting the Bottle in your Tasting Room

With the serving wine tank, you can take the wine directly from the barrel to the tank in the tasting room, eliminating the bottle, labels and corks normally used there. This can save a busy winery thousands of dollars a year in the tasting room while reducing waste in landfills.

Cooling

Anyone who knows much about wine knows the critical importance of temperature. The whites can’t be too cold and the reds can’t be too warm – a few degree swing in either direction can mask the distinct, beautiful flavors of the wine and even cause irreparable damage. With the water-glycol cooling system running through copper coils in our double-walled tanks, you have temperature control of each tank by easily connecting a dedicated or existing chiller.

The bag-in-tank system allows independent temperature control so you can keep a mineral-driven Pinot Grigio at a cool 50 degrees while a sparkling next to it may be served at 53 degrees. And that monster Cabernet down the line? It's chilling at a perfect 58 degrees. All in one room where your customers can see them…not hidden behind a wall in a cold storage room.

The bag-in-tank system takes up less space than coolers for wine bottles or a cold room for wine kegs. By eliminating these, you have reduced energy costs, not to mention additional space for customer seating and merchandise placement.

Labor Reduction

No more bottles means a huge labor savings for your cellar person. Hours spent stocking, cooling, moving and cleaning can now be eliminated.

Reduced Chemicals and Earth-Friendly

Even more savings could be available by eliminating the chemicals used for bottle or keg cleaning. And by using an air compressor to push liquid out of the bags, rather than CO 2   - serving tanks also save your winery from releasing harmful chemicals into the environment.

Longer Shelf Life = Less Waste

This self-cooling, bag-in-tank system results in less product handling which means fresher wine than and a longer shelf life. This saves money and increases good customer experiences while elevating your brand.

Marketing & Branding

We realize a large part of your product branding is in the bottle and the label. But in the tasting room, the branding can still be present- in staged bottles and merchandise - while you pour from the Serving Tank. Let’s not forget that so much of your consumer brand recognition lies in your flavor profiles. Those can stand on their own.
Not only are the Serving Beverage Tank beautiful in copper or stainless steel, but they can also be used as a marketing tool. We have the ability to put your logo on the tanks, right in front of our customers so there’s no doubt the product within it is yours.
